Zaidi's marks for CA1

Zaidi called me during recess time and was excited to tell me that he had passed all his CA1 papers. And to top it all, he was appointed the class monitor. He explained to me how determined he is to be the best monitor and ...then prefect.

Of course, mummy got to look at his exam papers...not too bad...better than his past papers...but carelessness ...arggghhh ...but of course not to dampen his spirits ....gave him a big hug and pat on the back.

Will continue to guide him in his studies....it is just that...why is it difficult for mums to teach their own kids? I can teach other kids well and build a healthy learning relationship with them...but with my own son...it always ends up in a brawl...me talking at the top of my lungs, my hubby patting me on the back saying (sabar! sabar!) and my son ending up in tears....

Ahhhh, that kills me....when he is asleep...I would stare at his helpless face and hug him till morning....I pray to Allah to give me the strength , guidance and patience in teaching my own son. I pray that this year will be a better year for him and his studies.
